Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix's athletic talent was evident from the moment she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. At her first attempt, she placed within the top two places in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. Then she was accepted into at the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. She set an Junior World Record running 200 metres in 22.18 second. The year 2005 was the time she became the youngest world champion of 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007 beating her former Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She always finished in the top three of every event.
